Yunqi Valley Introduction

The scenic area is located in Lushan County, Pingdingshan City, Henan Province. It is 2 hours' drive from Zhengzhou and Luoyang, 1 hour's drive from Pingdingshan, 1 hour and 30 minutes' drive from Nanyang City, and 1 hour and 20 minutes' drive from Ruzhou City. The transportation is very convenient. The scenic area is rich in natural resources and has a good ecological environment. The scenery of the four seasons is breathtaking. The forest coverage rate is over 95%, with sufficient negative oxygen ions. The overall elevation of the area is between 800 and 1200 meters, making it an ideal health resort.

Yunqi Valley Wonderland Drifting is located in Daiping Village, Sikeshu Township, covering a total distance of 6 kilometers and can float for 3 hours. The river is winding and winding, with a drop of 188 meters. Sometimes there are deep pools in Pinghu Lake, sometimes there are rapids and shoals, accompanied by strange peaks and rocks, experiencing surprises amidst passion and exclamation! Not only can you wash your face with a handful of cool river water at any time, but you can also have a "troublemaking" water battle, stay away from worldly troubles, and let freedom stay in your heart!!!

Drifting precautions

1. Opening Hours:

May 1st - late September (float runs normally on Saturdays and Sundays; float runs irregularly from Monday to Friday, and you need to call the scenic area for consultation before traveling).

The float time is from 12:00 to 14:00, and it is recommended to arrive at the scenic area before 12:00.

2. Play instructions:

(1) Before traveling, you need to prepare a set of clean clothes. During the drifting process, there will be thrilling water battles, and you should pay attention to sun protection;

(2) Before starting the float, it is necessary to wear protective equipment such as life jackets and safety helmets firmly, and do not loosen or unfasten them during the journey, as life-saving facilities can ensure that important parts of the body are not drowned after falling into the water and are not injured;

(3) During the drifting process, it is necessary to follow the instructions of the float protector. When the ship passes through dangerous shoals, do not panic and move around. You must sit tight and hold onto it firmly, and at the same time, do not exceed the body of the ship;

(4) When encountering rapids and reefs, apply appropriate force to your arms and feet to avoid injury; If a ship capsizes, respond calmly, and the float protector will rescue it as soon as possible. If the ship is seized, leave the ship as soon as possible.

(5) After rafting, there is a bathing area at the dock where you can take a shower and change.

Millennium Ginkgo King

Along the most beautiful highway, Shilin Road winds up. After upgrading and renovating, Shilin Road has complete facilities such as security, observation platforms, and post stations. The entire line is "one scene per section, one scene per road", with stops and walks, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way, and arriving at Wenshu Temple. Immersive experience of the wonderful feeling of "cars traveling on the road and people traveling in the painting".

Silver is for you, and for three generations, there are apricots. The five ginkgo trees in the temple, which are over 2800 years old, are a unique sight in the Yunqi Valley Scenic Area and are known as the "King of Trees in the World". Throughout the year, spring, summer, autumn, and winter, the scenery is breathtaking. Especially in the golden autumn season, the trees are covered in golden yellow, like a huge Zen robe enveloping the temple, picturesque and poetic.

The current Wenshu Temple has four exemptions:

Every year from mid to late April to early May, rhododendrons bloom all over the mountains on the Rhododendron Ridge, blooming like clouds and mists among the lush mountains, leaving one captivated and unable to leave. The entire flowering period can last up to three weeks. Why look at the spring breeze in the famous garden, the mountain flowers will not disappoint me all the way! Faced with such beautiful scenery, come here for a spring date!

To avoid congestion, it is recommended to avoid traveling during holidays.

Deep in the mountains, the village is surrounded by a clear stream, and the old houses with white walls and black tiles are arranged in a picturesque pattern, resembling a mountain dwelling amidst the smoke from the kitchen. Relying on the beautiful scenery, Chen Family Homestay, Phase I and Phase II Moshang Hidden Homestay, Guiyin Mountain Residence, Fengzhiyuan Mountain Villa, etc. have been built along the mountain.

Chen Family's homestay is a small homestay that integrates dining, accommodation, and tourism. Its specialty restaurants include ground pot chicken, Nangkeng barbecue, and grilled pork belly. My favorite is farmhouse gold Congee, which is natural. The combination of natural ingredients and traditional cuisine allows you to travel through mountains and rivers, still feeling that the world is worth it.

Moshangyin includes private homestay areas, viewing and dining areas, children's exploration and amusement areas, and bamboo forest and flower sea areas. There is a small stream in the courtyard of the homestay, giving it a touch of Jiangnan garden flavor. The peacock paced gracefully in the courtyard, while the parrot pecked at the passenger's palm. The room is elegant, with mountains and mists flowing through the window, and the sound of springs and birds singing all over the ears. The primitive ecology is integrated with people's daily life and transportation. Coming here, both body and mind can rest.

Zhanggou Farmyard is famous for its carefully cooked 2hour firewood, including sesame leaf corn grits, handmade oil steamed buns, dried rice, wild vegetables, and mountain mushrooms. It is particularly famous for braising chicken in soy sauce. It is made with homemade soybean flour sauce, mixed with freshly picked pepper, and braised in an iron pot with an earthen stove. In addition to Zhanggou's farmyard, Huanggou's selfservice small courtyard is also a "good idea" for tourists.
